Small Kitchen

The challenge here was to design a small apartment kitchen that is functional, but creates an impression of more space. To achieve this, I chose a natural color palette and light walls with see-through window blinds. The countertops are used efficiently with a dining peninsula that doubles as work space. I love the under-cabinet lighting, marble floors and backsplash tile — just because it's small, doesn't mean it can't be elegant.

Happy accident: While searching for flooring options, I found wood paneling that is a perfect match for the cabinets.
