Blue Bathroom

200 sq. ft. space

Here, I was challenged to create a bright, clean design that feels like an at-home spa. The oversized round tub centers the room under a gorgeous blue chandelier. On either side of the tub, round windows are set high for privacy — they also let in light and produce interesting shadows on the pale aqua walls. A frosted glass door also lets natural light into the toilet. I love the ceramic tile walls and the modern vanity set up off the floor for easy cleaning. Finally, the dark artwork creates a dramatic contrast in an otherwise monochromatic room.

Happy accident: I selected the chandelier based on the size and color, and was really pleased with the way the round shape plays with the adjacent windows. I imagine how beautiful it must look from the outside at night.
